  • The works cited page is a separate page at the end of the research paper with the title Works Cited at the top and the references listed alphabetically. When the title is first, ignore A, An or The.
  • Underline titles of books and journals. Italics may be used for titles with permission from the classroom teacher who assigned the research. (More Information on using italics: http://www.mla.org/style_faq2)
  • If no author/editor listed, use the title
  • First line aligns left and then all other lines are a hanging indent of 0.5″
  • All entries are double-spaced.
